Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Has Exceeded the Hype Part 2

Indeed the fight is “dead” but come on you know the fight will be made either this year or the next.

So how exactly does it continue to exceed the hype?

Just imagine how the fight has taken a complete 360 degree turn.

The fight is officially cancelled and Pacquiao has decided to seek another opponent.

As most of you know that opponent is none other than Joshua Clottey.

The fight is scheduled to take place on March 13, 2010 as planned but with one exception.

The location will be the newly billion dollar Cowboy’s Stadium located in Arlington, Texas.

I guess Jerry Jones found a way to host his big match huh?

Furthermore, no one really expected this sudden change.I personally though the fight would be cancelled but didn’t think Pacquiao would immediately find an opponent; and choose someone like dangerous Joshua Clottey.

Let’s not forget about Mayweather.

Mayweather flirted with the idea of also fighting on the same date as Pacquiao.

Nevertheless, he stated that he would refrain from fighting on such date and seeks other plans.

Recently, the Berto and Mosley fight was called off leaving Shane Mosley available.

So more than likely Mosley will get his wish and get his fight with Mayweather.

So how should we take in all these changes?

First, Mayweather will quite critics who claim he ducks some of the best fighters.

Mosley in my opinion more dangerous than Joshua Clottey and is a welterweight elite.

Pacquiao on the other side is by many expected to blow of Clottey.

More than likely he will probably beat Clottey but simply blow him off? We will see….

So Pacquiao and Mayweather have taken their fight to a new level and plan to start Round 1 by deciding how will make the most sales.

As a result, either Mayweather or Pacquiao will gain more leverage when they start their re-negotiations for their fight.

So fight fans don’t fret, the fight will be made but both sides are just hyping things up even more.

Oh and expect many other twist and turns throughout the year.
